Friday Five 11/20/15
A few snapshots from beautiful Salzburg.
Salzburg Old Town
Salzburg panoramaSalzburg at night
This time of year is absolutely incredible in Europe – all the Christkindlmarkte opened up this week in Vienna & Salzburg, which we were able to witness. Strolling through with a glass of punsch in hand (we might have taken the first punsch glasses we drank out off…don’t judge!), examining all the vendor’s goods. I love the charm surrounding the holidays, and if you do too, then Europe is the place to be.
On to this week’s Friday Five, straight outta Salzburg.

A Caffeine Free Coffee shop just opened up in NYC

Hmm, we’ll try it once, but I don’t think caffeine-free is my thing to be honest. I drink coffee to be a functioning human being…what is the point otherwise?!

Need A Same Day Massage? There’s an app for that

I love this! A same day massage…gone are the days of pre-booking a massage and the anticipation leading up to it. I want a massage, and I want it NOW! (Yeesh, what is technology turning me into?)

Your Guide to Etiquette Eating Abroad

Whenever I travel, I always make a point to do some research on customs and traditions. Things that may seem normal to us, can be considered taboo in another country. The last thing I’d want to do is offend someone and end up leaving them with a negative impression! Tourists that thoughtlessly demand familiarity in an unfamiliar country are the worst.

Seeking Purpose One Experiment At A time

Like many design challenges, our lives are filled with uncertainty, shifting constraints and expectations, and the journey is certainly not linear.

Backpacking Switzerland on a budget

Being in Switzerland seriously felt like I was in a virtual reality postcard. The scenery was stunning, everything was so clean and new and just perfect. A week was not enough time, and I’d love to go back just without it leaving a huge hole in my wallet!

Happy Friday. Very soon you’ll be Czeching us out in Prague (I love puns).
