Friday Five 12/11/15
In a couple of days (the 13th to be precise), it’ll be a month since I first got on a plane to begin my European adventure! A lot has happened in a month, both during my travels, and with the world at large. I find myself hardly reading today’s headlines, mainly due to the fact of how negative it’s become. It’s so sad that people are letting ignorance and fear cloud their judgment…such a damn shame.
On a different note, it’s December! I’m not sure how that happened, but I am glad that in a few short weeks we will be ringing in the New Year. I have high hopes for 2016 knowing the direction (ok, sort of) my life is taking. Excited to see it all unfold, and where I get to travel to!
Here’s this week’s Friday Five!

America’s 20 prettiest national parks in winter

I want to walk in any of these 20 winter wonderlands. Isn’t it magical how snow can transform a landscape…if you know me, you know how much I used to detest the snow. The two winters I endured in DC were the snowiest, and every time there was a chance of snow, I stayed home. If ice were a person, it would be my arch nemesis – I loathe it! But, this past trip to Europe, something about the snow falling over Cesky Krumlov made me fall in love.

5 Trends that will change how companies use social media in 2016

I rather enjoy reading all these trend forecast-type articles. Who knows if these ‘trends’ will be used, but it’s interesting to read them, especially from a social media management POV.

43 Overlooked Places Every Travel Lover Should Have On Their List

Definitely time to step up my travel game in the upcoming years. Some of these I’ve heard of, and definitely don’t think they’re overlooked, but others I’m curious about.

Spicy Garlic Tofu

Every recipe I’ve made from their site has been delicious. I do believe most of this weekend will be spent cooking up Chinese food, because that’s just what I’m craving. Doesn’t this sound good?!
I have to say I’m really enjoying Lena Dunham’s podcast series Women of The Hour. I downloaded the episodes a while ago, but just got to listening today. Worth the download. Happy Friday!
